The Movements

Swedish garage-rock band, The Movements, were formed in Gothenburg in 2001, heavily influenced by 13th Floor Elevators, The Seeds, The Sonics,etc. Their first E.P. was produced by Bjorn Olsson, of Union Carbide fame, in 2004 for Lonestar Records and was called "Drag Me Up".  Since then, they've toured Sweden, Demark, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Italy.

 Their first L.P., "Grain of Oats" was released on Alleycat Records in 2005 and followed by a 2006 tour of Germany, Sweden and Norway.  Now they're starting to move further afield, reacing Andalucia in May 2008.
