MEMO is a big, big name all over Spain as well as in "Stereo Bar" (Berlin), "United 7" and "Bar 54" (Londdon)Discoteca "Catwalk" (Barcelona), "Zen Club" (Barcelona), "Moog" (Bcn), "Kubik" (Bcn), Space (Ibiza), Discoteca Privilege (Ibiza), Industrial Copera (Granada), Palafitos (Dominican Republic) Shaga (Mexico). He's shared billing with the biggest electronic groups and DJs in the world (Prodigy, Cristal Method, Orbital, Public Enemy, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills and a very extended etc) and now he is monthly resident DJ in the most prestigious cities in Europe, "City Hall" and "Sidecar" (Barcelona) and Bar 54 (Londres). Carl Cox uses DJ MEMO tracks and Space (Ibiza) use him as fiesta DJ alongside Derrick May, Adam Freeland, Alexander Kowalski, etc.

Alongside Juan Mora and Dativo, Michel Cervantes is responsible for the great change that came over the Sala Energia in Granada, supplying it with a fun after-party known as WOW.  He's organised events all over the province and outside it too: industrial copera,sala energia, lambigur(tarifa), etc.  In Tarifa he was resident DJ for 3 years with jorge fernandez, sharing the DJ booth with david hosphkins,miguel tovar,fly flus,bony stuche,burbur,rude kaiser,luis pereira,alex jimenez ,etc.  He's also played sets at previous Dragon and Rocket festivals.

He mixes techno, minimal and electric with fat basslines, creating a very danceable show!

Born in Tokyo, Tetsuya Ura consolidates as an international DJ and Producer since more than 10 years.

His style starts from Deep-Funky moving to Elektro House and Minimal tech during his underground sets. Tetsuya started early 90's in San Francisco where he started sharing decks with artist like John Howard, Jay Valencia, DJ Garth y DJ Simon.

DJ Poty has been on the circuit for 10 years, mixing his own form of music all over the Costa del Sol, moving around with MCM Santyagrahan from Mozambique.  In the last 5 years he’s played at Casasviejas (Madrid), La Madra (Valencia), Distrito Norte (Cordoba), Barco Gran Bucanero (Benalmadena costa) etc, and signed up to NOPRESET RECORD.

Starting off in numerous private parties in 1992/93, this Malagueño made a name for himself a couple of years later in the famous after hours parties in La Mansion, going on to be resident DJ at the Pincho Luna club, leading to gigs all over Andalucia.  He currently has his own record label, Minimusik, and 2008 sees the unveiling of new projects of electronic sounds wrapped in an electro-minimal-techno atmosphere.

BERNARDO HANGAR (Andalucia / Spain) started his musical career in the hip hop scene of his native Cordoba, before the sounds of ElectronicBodyMusic took him into other electronic worlds, playing techno sets since 1989 in clubs and festivals all over the country.  In Disco3, In-xplicable, THF II, Exilium, Satisfaxion, Duna, Anfiteatro, Inercia, Soma, Magic, Bauhaus, Industrial Copera, Esparrago Rock, SONAR, Festimad, FIB, Electronica, Rc 01, Electrosplash, Electrosonic etc, he has shared the stage with some of the biggest DJs and producers worldwide. 

His Professional career begins at 2000 playing in small clubs and raves from the northwest of Madrid. Soon he started to play in some clubs from the capital like Knowsy Club, La Palma 3, Zenith Club, Ananda, Pacha Madrid… In 2002’s summer he creates the company Diamods Planet, dedicated to event promotion, dj management and music production. This company soon would become in the perfect launcher to Europe.

This Dj from Málaga started out in the beginning of the year 2000, first with Breakbeat and later with other styles like House, Techno, and Electro. In 2003 he began to introduce himself to the world of "scratch" and to investigate other genres like Drum N Bass and Hip Hop… In 2005 he participated for the first time in a Dj competition (Marbella Dance 2005) becoming the winner of the first prize.

D-VICE is a drum n bass, breakbeat, electro, hip-hop band.  After two hard years of  digital music creation, they finally started playing and practising in 2007, giving analogue life to the digital pre-project.  Though the backbone of the band is formed by MC MANTISSE (production and vocals) and ERIK FREAK (production and drums), they've been joined upto now by scratches, bass, brass section and guitar.  The Rocket Festival 2008 will be the venue for the official presentation of D-VICE live.  This is not to be missed.

Formed in 2005, Taha Funk Clan have just now, in 2008, started out on the live show circuit, with their own version of hardcore rap. Losadiko pain akademik and dj rober drum  on stage (and with Olokausto productions) go for quality, not sommerciality.  Hard rhythms and explicit lyrics over consistent bases, make up a compact, serious work.

The Barbass Sound live show is all hustle and bustle, with DJ KADERAS and JOWEN SELEKTAH going from decks to mike and from mike to decks in what people are calling "a full-on stage party".  Live Tunes, Toasting and songs, remixes, Dubplates, total audience participation and a real visual spectacle.  We have before us one of the best-known reggae Soundsystems in the area and that's why they've been appearing on the front cover of so many magazines recently - Mondosonoro, Yerba, etc.

La LoOna was born in 19988 in Salobreña – where she later started rapping with Orion.  “Hello to Detone,Niño Atroz,Truj,Kasper,Peya and all tose who keep our urban myth going.”  Underground is the word that best describes their recording perseverance, using effort and feeling to great effect despite few funds.

Jordi Slate, with over 17 years of experience at the decks, is considered one of the best DJs in the country.  Resident DJ at PALLADIUM, Torremolinos, he has performed in all the biggest Spanish festivals ( SONAR twice in Barcelona, FESTIMAD, LIVE DANCE FESTIVAL, FIMES, ESPARRAGO ROCK, BREAK NATION) as well as in Balearic clubs  PRIVILEGE, Ibiza, MISSISIPI WILLOW and OH!MARBELLA and in Germany, the Czech Republic, etc.  At the legendary TRESOR club in Berlin, he has shared the lineup with Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, Laurent Garnier, Ralph Lawson et al.  He is without doubt the personification of elegance and perfection in the DJ booth.

 

Paolo D'amato a.K.a. DJ MOA started off as a Hip-hop and Spiral-tekno DJ in Turín, 1994, before going to London and then getting to know Drum n Bass pioneers, Rollers inc.  Arriving in Madrid in 2000, it wasn’t long before he was part of UNITY – the main Drum n Bass DJ and producer collective.

 

 

Dj Man is one of the most famous and acclaimed Djs in southern Spain leading the way in the early 90's with Hardcore, Jungle and BreakBeat. He has a very special style making scratches, powerful frequency cuts and radical cuts, giving his sessions a great style and definition. This charismatic Dj mixes every break style such as ElectroBreak, TechBreak, Nu..Skool and even the darkest Drum..n..Bass. For the last few years, he has also been playing Electro, ElectroClash and TechnoPop.

Founder member of Spin Buho, this D&B mc, promoter and vocalist has worked alongside Roni Size, Bad Company and Pendulum. As a Drum N Bass MC he goes beyond plain toasting, going into harmonic games and using complex musical elements with an astonishing capacity for changing tone.  He has a famously good connection with audiences, injecting loads of energy into the crowds and even performing in fluent English too!

“I grew up with pink floyd, alan parsons, otis reading,wilson picket, james brown, roxy music,david bowie etc and they awoke the artistic and musical vein that has led me here”.

Jose Fernando Perez Cueto, a.ka. Bolitas, has been influenced by Manuel de Falla, Sub Focus, reggae, flamenco and Dubstep, but where this 28 year old Granadino really stands out from the crowd is in the DRUM&BASS scene.  Part of the Anti-Statik crew, he's DJd in Industrial Copera ,sala Tren and El Molino in Granada, as well as the odd rave or ten!  Outside Granada, he even prepares special mixes just for his favourite crowd at Sala Elastica, Almeria.

Dj Killer, also known as Rafa Alcántara, is considered to be one of Spain's biggest Djs and producers; he has played and produced dance music in many countries around the world as a Dj as well as a prodcer with: Natural Productions and Natural Break Records whom he is co-founder of. After Australia, Spain has probably got the 2nd biggest Breakbeat community in the world, outside of the United Kingdom.
