Jordi Slate, with over 17 years of experience at the decks, is considered one of the best DJs in the country.  Resident DJ at PALLADIUM, Torremolinos, he has performed in all the biggest Spanish festivals ( SONAR twice in Barcelona, FESTIMAD, LIVE DANCE FESTIVAL, FIMES, ESPARRAGO ROCK, BREAK NATION) as well as in Balearic clubs  PRIVILEGE, Ibiza, MISSISIPI WILLOW and OH!MARBELLA and in Germany, the Czech Republic, etc.  At the legendary TRESOR club in Berlin, he has shared the lineup with Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, Laurent Garnier, Ralph Lawson et al.  He is without doubt the personification of elegance and perfection in the DJ booth.

 

Paolo D'amato a.K.a. DJ MOA started off as a Hip-hop and Spiral-tekno DJ in Turín, 1994, before going to London and then getting to know Drum n Bass pioneers, Rollers inc.  Arriving in Madrid in 2000, it wasn’t long before he was part of UNITY – the main Drum n Bass DJ and producer collective.

 

 

Dj Man is one of the most famous and acclaimed Djs in southern Spain leading the way in the early 90's with Hardcore, Jungle and BreakBeat. He has a very special style making scratches, powerful frequency cuts and radical cuts, giving his sessions a great style and definition. This charismatic Dj mixes every break style such as ElectroBreak, TechBreak, Nu..Skool and even the darkest Drum..n..Bass. For the last few years, he has also been playing Electro, ElectroClash and TechnoPop.

Founder member of Spin Buho, this D&B mc, promoter and vocalist has worked alongside Roni Size, Bad Company and Pendulum. As a Drum N Bass MC he goes beyond plain toasting, going into harmonic games and using complex musical elements with an astonishing capacity for changing tone.  He has a famously good connection with audiences, injecting loads of energy into the crowds and even performing in fluent English too!

Jose Fernando Perez Cueto, a.ka. Bolitas, has been influenced by Manuel de Falla, Sub Focus, reggae, flamenco and Dubstep, but where this 28 year old Granadino really stands out from the crowd is in the DRUM&BASS scene.  Part of the Anti-Statik crew, he's DJd in Industrial Copera ,sala Tren and El Molino in Granada, as well as the odd rave or ten!  Outside Granada, he even prepares special mixes just for his favourite crowd at Sala Elastica, Almeria.

Dj Killer, also known as Rafa Alcántara, is considered to be one of Spain's biggest Djs and producers; he has played and produced dance music in many countries around the world as a Dj as well as a prodcer with: Natural Productions and Natural Break Records whom he is co-founder of. After Australia, Spain has probably got the 2nd biggest Breakbeat community in the world, outside of the United Kingdom.

Under these smooth looks and charming smile hides a genuine living and breathing musical encyclopaedia.

His talent has placed him at the front of the electronic scene, managing techno and breaks styles. His name is seen in all the nightclub flyers and sells records throughout the whole world.

Pendulum Undeniably the most exciting Drum and Bass act in existence, Pendulum have forged their trademark rocket-fuelled sound from hardcore, indy rock and breaks with an relentless energy that has to be heard to be believed. We couldn't hope for a better bet for the headline slot in the Rocket dance tent. Bring a spare pair of socks because Pendulum will blow the ones your wearing right off!

Definitely EvilTom and Pat first combined skills in 1998 and were quickly identified as a quality DJ/Producer duo by Adam Freeland who signed them to his Marine Parade label. Since then each of their releases has in turn distinguished Evil Nine as innovators who refuse to blend into any scene. For them the music has to go beyond being merely 'fat'. Deriving their musical flavour from multiple influences - hip-hop, punk, electro, dancehall, post punk, garage rock, techno and krautrock just to name a few - they create an original minimalism packed with emotive ability.

JFB first started mixing and scratching on local pirate radio in 1996 playing drum&bass. He developed his style with scratching and started playing party Hiphop Instrumentals around Brighton area for a few years.

Beardyman has worked alongside Grooverider, Shy FX, Killa Kela, Jazzy Jeff and Andy C to name a few. He battled to become UK Beatbox Champion 2006 and retained his title in 2007 making him the first beatboxer in UK history to win 2 championships in a row. Beardyman often uses humour as well as beatboxing in his act. He has impersonated Elvis, dressed as a monkey on stage and once posed as an Austrian climate change lecturer before breaking into his set.

Serge SantiagoBrighton boy but now Hackney (London) resident, Serge Santiago, is particularly known for his cheeky coloured vinyl re-edits of classic Italo/Disco tracks - including Kano ‘It’s a War’ on green vinyl and Grace Jones ‘Slave to The Rhythm’ on red.

The entire story began when he decided to create a radio-show where used to play tracks from important groups such us Front 242, Nitzer EBB, 808 State, Orbital.. among others.

The Boys LiveCambridge is mainly known for its famous university, an inordinate amount of cyclists, a terrible football team, a river made for punting, a folk festival and being the home of Stephen Hawking, Clive James and Jeffrey Archer. It is not, one must admit, the first place one would look for producers of dancefloor-hardened beats. It is nevertheless, the city that gave birth to The Nextmen, also known as Brad Baloo and Dom Search.

Dark & dirtyIcicle aka Jeroen Snik was born & raised in Holland. At the Age of 8 Icicle first started playing piano and soon got onto the drum kit. It wasn't long until he started making beats using an old school midi set-up and aged 15 he became hooked on drum and bass after going to local night "Jungle Galaxy". Getting some turntables and better music making software followed and Icicle was on his way.

Tom WilkesTom Wilkes is a Breakbeat DJ based in Norwich UK. Along with running his own Promotion STUFF for the past five years he also makes regular DJ apperances at club nights such as Twisted Skunk, Beatfix, Spank, Moodswing (London) and Basslick (Maidstone).

Macpherson is the resident drum n bass DJ for Fabric Live London. He has been performing with the best artists from around the world for the last five years. Fabric is voted by DJ Magazine as the number one club in the world as a result of its unrivalled line-ups.

Hedflux Hedflux is DJ/Producer Steve Young.

Fueled by a perpetually unquenched thirst for deeper understanding, and a burning need to express that understanding through sonic manipulation, Steve created Hedflux as the embodiment of a particular sound; a sound which can be inadequately described by such words as "deep" ... "driving" ... "psychedelic" ... "techy" ... "tough", and which flows in the rhythmic style of Breaks or Tech-funk.
