He's shared billing with the biggest electronic groups and DJs in the world (Prodigy, Cristal Method, Orbital, Public Enemy, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills and a very extended etc) and now he is monthly resident DJ in the most prestigious cities in Europe, "City Hall" and "Sidecar" (Barcelona) and Bar 54 (Londres). Within a year of buying her first turntables, DJ YORKA had already appeared in such illustrious DJ boxes as those of Passion or Industrial Coopera. At the tender age of 18, she was resident at Sodoma in Malaga and now she is one of the big Andaluz promises. In less than four years, she has played in the hottest spots in the Costa del Sol, as well as Israel, Germany and other European climes.
Winners of the 2007 Andalucia Youth Music Festival pop category in Alhama de Granada, Los Vecinos del Callejón are eight young musicians who originally met up in an alleyway in Granada in 2005.
Their style is a multicultural mix of rhythms from ska to reggae and hard rock to funk, always with a latin feel. Their over 50 funny, fast-moving live shows have made them one of the main references of the Andaluz cultural fusion style called Mestizaje.
